"Basketball is a global sport. Even though we are in Lithuania today, we are in a global basketball coaches clinic, where we share global ideas. The more we share, the more we improve this sport," emphasized Billy Mims. "I am a big fan of Lithuanian basketball, I follow your men's national team games and results, and now I had the opportunity to watch your U20 women's performance in the European Championship."
"I know that the Lithuanian Basketball Federation pays a lot of attention to the development of basketball coaches because by developing coaches, we also develop players," noted Don Showalter, Director of Youth and Sports Development for "USA Basketball." "When coaching the USA youth teams, I have faced Lithuanian teams. Your players are known for their good shooting, high intelligence, and excellent basketball fundamentals."
